Five hurdles to getting productive use of energy products to the last mile
Productive use of energy (PUE) products have the potential to dramatically improve the livelihoods of low-income populations. However, meaningfully selling these products and ensuring that last mile consumers can realise the benefits is complex. From immature supply chains and affordability barriers to challenges with end-user education and aftersales support. This article explores five barriers and how to address them to unlock a wave of PUE market growth.
